New River Gorge!
So because I've been to most states, though there are still a select few that I need to stop through, my wish list is now turning more to landmarks and state capitals. With ruling Sedona, AZ off of my wish list in December the next item on the list was the New River Gorge Bridge, near Beckley, WV. Well, that's where I went today.

Then, because time permitted, dad and I swung through Charleston via US-60 from US-19 and there are indeed now pictures of me at the West Virginia State Capital.

The New River Gorge Bridge totally blew my mind. Even when I was standing under it, with my feet in the river itself (no one tell me how polluted it is or I'll beat you senseless), it seemed unreal. Next time you need to try going through the gorge by train and looking up at the bridge. Every time I have been through there it just impresses the hell out of me.

um, your box of stuff is gone from the storage room! somebody might have stolen it!? very bizarre.

we looked for it, but will look some more.

I'm around til June 6th. But honestly, I've lived without whatever was in that box for over a year. If someone took it in earnest and it doesn't turn up elsewhere, perhaps someone else needed its contents more than I did. :)

Keep and eye out for it but don't go too far out of your way--it sounds like you and Scot are pretty busy right now anyhow.
